Blazers defeated the Brew Crew in the first round of the playoffs
to advance to the finals where they will face the undefeated Havoc.
Havoc went 10-0-0 in the regular season, and 1-0 in the playoffs so far.
Havoc elimintaed the Demons in the first round of the playoffs
by a score of 7-3. The Blazers will take on the Havoc Sunday, January
12th at 7pm. ~ Blazers defenseman Nick Dolan will return to the lineup this Sunday after serving a 4-game suspension for fighting on Dec. 8 vs Brew Crew. Dolan leads the Blazers with 15 goals this season. The Blazers went 1-3 in the 4 games that Dolan missed. ~ Blazers defenseman Keith Lawson has signed with the new expansion team for next season. Lawson played the first 2 games for the Blazers, and missed the rest of the season with a broken collar bone. The Blazers were 1-1 in the 2 games that he played with the team before his injury. Lawson's last game with the Blazers was Nov. 3 vs Havoc. |
